What we collect
Account information you provide (name, email or phone number) when you sign in as a traveller or register as a property owner. Booking details — dates, guest count, the property and rate plan you book. Payment information is collected and processed directly by our payment providers (Stripe and/or Razorpay, depending on your region) — Pravaasa does not store your full card details. Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) collected automatically by our servers for security and reliability.
How we use it
To create and manage your bookings. To communicate with you about a booking (confirmations, host messages, support). To compute trust scores from verified stays and reviews. To meet legal and financial record-keeping obligations tied to payments and bookings. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers — Pravaasa's whole model is built around not needing them.
Who we share it with
The property owner you book with, to the extent needed to fulfil your stay. Our payment providers (Stripe, Razorpay), to process payment. Service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. hosting, email delivery), bound by their own confidentiality obligations. We do not share your data with data brokers or ad networks.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to what we're legally required to retain for financial records). Contact us using the details below to exercise any of these.
